So, I did ten man Naxx in the spider and military wing. So without Nature's Reh I pulled aggro on an aoe pull oe and a few times on aouple mobs, but never on any of the bosses. Having Nature's Splendor was very very ne in the ft I didn't have to worry about IS and MF that mh at all on the bosses. We two healed everything up until horseman where I ended up having to off sp heal the thing
but I was top damage and 2nd in dps behind an enhaement shaman. So I'veome to theolusion that you do not need to have the redtion in threat if you play it smart and do it right. Iame out though with 2200 dps roughly overall and was top damage done until the horseman fight. Most boss fights I was above and far over 3k dps.
Another little addendum here. I ran 10 man VoA with some of my guildies and we were lking
tanks so our warrior and dk dided brush the dust off the tanking gear and try it out. Well, not having Nature's Reh worked just fine for the most part up until the time I dided torit Starfire for 10k about 8 times in a row. Mind you this was in the beginning of the fight so I did pull aggro oe but it was with tanks that don't tank very often. That's all!
10 man VoA is a wuss. Seriously. One of
the easiest boss I ever saw in a raid. You got aggro probablyause of undergeared tanks...
First, some bkground. I'm in all blues eept for a single ep, and unbuffed, eept in tree, I have about 1330 SP, 15k mana, and 580200-ish regen. I started healing heros at around 1050 SP and in blues from the regular instaes, and my first heros were UP, UK,oT, AN, and...one more I don't remember. We did them all in a row, and had hardly any troubles (it was with the first group I talk about below). In ft, we pretty mh steamrolled through them. I've sie healed most of the heros minus the two Ulduars and Gundrak, having little trouble unless the tank blew or dps wasn't good enough. (I healed a pally with 460-ish defense and...I forgot how mh, but not very mh HP...through a hero D'TK, whh was rough, but fine oe we got a rhythm down) I've attempted two timedoT runs.
First time was with a group where our DK tank was in almost all blues, and our dps were: one in mostly blues and two in some eps (about half, I suppose). It was the first time trying a timed for all of us, so none of us knew where the spial boss was, but we zoomed through and downed Mal'Ganis with a bit over a minute left, meaning weould've downed the drake boss had we known where he was. 2nd time, we wed oe, and had we hustled, weould've made it. We were short by a few minutes, but that was only bause we didn't think weould make it after wing. When we realized weould've, it was too late. Now, this time, I was in a group, and it would've been a great group. But 1) The DK tank had never been there. He didn't really make any mistakes, but we probably lost aouple minutes from not hustling from one spot to the next as fast as we wereapable of. 2) The mage would (I think unknowningly (e.g. no meters)) pull aggro on casion 3) For speeds sake and to save me oe, the ret pally would end up pulling aggro. We wed twe. Oe bause we had just downed Meatlame and were running to a moreentral lation when the next group spawned on top of me, and the sond at the 3rd boss when
the DK said to stop dps. Reason? So we didn't get aggro. He did Army of the Dead. orrt me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure they don't taunt or attk friendlyharters. Anyway, in myonfusion, I die, but the DK and pally manage to down him. We ran out of time at the beginning of the alley after the bookshelf. Few things I did wrong: Ran bk after the first we instead of porting (didn't
know the gnome did that). Didn't wait for pally rez after 2nd we (didn't think they'd down him). Didn't heal myself in time during 3rd boss (tooonfused by "Stop DPS"). On average, the party(minus myself ofourse) was pulling around 1400 dps eh. Should I feel bad about us not making it? I was (I didn'thk gear, but from the way they were talking) presumably the only one in mostly blues. I think, however, had I not
