It's so easy to get high stamina with hero drops andrafted gear that I think what the emblem tank gear best offers us is mitigation. So the tank nkomes with dent dodge, the t7hest gives more through better agi
than the available hero drops, e. The hands will be an upgrade after that absurd quest reward fromoT Strat gets nerfed, and the trinket is a ne oh-sh*te button with good dodge. I know my goal, oe I get another 1k or so health, is to get to 40% dodge. I'd rather have that thanrk 30k unbuffed health (though I'd really rather have both).

Tusker, Yeah, being new to tanking I'm trying to figure out that balae of dodge and stamina myself. Right now I lean towards more STA, but that's probably what a noob tank would do. I think my dodge is about 33% right now whhould use some work. You do make a good point about the badge gear mainly offering avoidae for us though. I did look up that nerf on the Preserved History Handwraps and the STA on those it looks like will be 73, down from 100. I don't have the T7 glove info handy, but they most likely will be superior now. I just wanted to add that!
The T7 gloves will be better after the nerf. I just got them any way as the 2 pie bonus gives me an euse to Lerate more than I was before. I like hitting buttons.
I'm no tanking genius but bk in the day when I dinged 70 I was told to gem for sta up to 16k health and then gem
for agi (for dodge,rit and a little armor). I don't know if the pros haveaulated when that sweet spot arrives in WotLK but there is a point at whh mitigation bomes more important than raw health. If you have more than 30k health I would venture to guess you have passed it.
